How to navigate this website
- When you move your cursor over the words "Washington D.C. Virtual Field Trip" you will get a drop down menu for the four days of this trip.
- On each page you will find an outline of the trip's itinerary. Each new location will include a combination of photos, videos, websites, or interactive experiences for you to explore.
- Each student will be assigned a virtual field trip journal. These journals will be a place for you to track your progress, include reflections on what you are seeing, and answer questions posed.
- When you see text in red it indicates a stopping part and is connected to your virtual journal. These questions and activities will be completed in your trip journals. Here you will get more guidance on what you are to do for each stop along this trip. Lastly, in each red section you will see the title/topic underlined. The underlined words are the title of each section you are responsible for completing in your trip journals. For example, on Day 1 the first section in red is entitled How Things Fly. This will be the first entry in your journals.
- The Green buttons are links to connect you to the many websites you will explore. They will open the website in a new window making it easier to maneuver back and forth between the websites and our trip site.
